Alison Ross Ceramics

Welcome to my ceramics studio ...

Drawing my inspiration from the elements, colours and textures of the natural world, clay is the language

I use to bring my vision to life. Influenced by the Japanese aesthetic of WabiSabi, I prefer muted colours

and simple palettes and favour entirely hand built forms, which do not seek mechanical perfection but,

rather use the process of emergence from under the makers hands to reference

the timelessness and gradual emergence of forms in the natural world.

If you would like to discuss a commission or any aspect of my work

please do get in touch using the "Contact Us" button below.
