Winter Solstice and Festive Greetings

Winter Solstice - my favourite time of year! New beginnings and a hope that seems to rise with the returning light. For those of you who know me, you will know my festive celebrations include making a piece of art that includes butterflies (to symbolise the new light year) and a note setting out my hopes and dreams for the new year and all my gratitude for the year past. It will be consigned to the fire tomorrow, as wishes for good things in the new light year are sent. So here's wishing everyone I know all the very best for this festive season and for 2019.
