Travels
Just back from a truly inspiring trip to South Africa. It never ceases to amaze me how people there create the most incredible things from items we might term "rubbish"! Old household appliances are cut up and turned into sculptures - herons, ducks, blackbirds... Wire is twisted into animals and birds that are vibrant with the colour of glass beads and wood and stone turned into beautiful sculpture - abstract and realistic. I have come back filled with memories of vivid colours, inspiring people, exotic animals, warm weather and sunshine...
